Meetup event – ignored. Let’s just meet up.
Literally.
I guess it was my fault, I read too much into it.
Meet up and hang out?
What? No, just meet up.
I went to a comedy club meetup and everyone sat next to the person they arrived with. No mingling, just gathering. Someone even asked me for my chair, while I was sitting in it. I kept getting moved further away from our designated section the whole night. At my peak, I had a sliver of the table’s corner, just enough room for my drink. Finally, I said goodbye to my chair and left.
I met up, that was enough.
