Wrap her up! Cover that muffin in some plastic, please, I’ll eat it later. I just love eating at home in my robe, or in a kimono, while slowly freeing my food from its cover … peeling away the confines; revealing, releasing, and savoring it … bite by bite. So alluring. So liberating. A little messy.

“Is freedom anything else than the right to live as we wish? Nothing else.” ~ Epictetus

I love sitting next to elderly women. They’re always fumbling around in their purses …
Inside there always seems to be a cluster of Kleenexes with some pink lipstick marks folded in, along with an ancient comb – minus a few teeth – with some strands of orange hair dangling from it, and a lone mint ready to escape.
There’s usually some wrappers from little candies here and there and tons of receipts from anything and everything popping out.
Oh, and they love finding little papers inside their handbags. They open and fold, open and fold, and open and fold them. A lot of opening and folding you’ll see and hear.
Just once, I’d like to see them stop, smile, and pull out a finished origami bird, a tulip, or even an airplane.
