“To find yourself, think for yourself.” ~ Socrates

“Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.” ~ Christian D. Larson

It’s important to remember how unique we all are and how valuable our individual freedom is. Our freedom doesn’t come from words written on paper, it comes from living authentically, being true to oneself. When we honor ourselves and one another, when we appreciate our differences, and when we work together, that’s what makes the world go ’round. That’s when we see the change we’re all looking for. To control anyone or anything hinders growth. We need each other.

True freedom comes from within. True change is an inside job.

Maybe we start today by honoring our connection with what’s real. Don’t let anyone tell you how to live or what to think – think for yourself. Choose your path – no else has been through exactly what you’ve been through.  No one knows you more than you know yourself. You’re doing just fine.

I’ve spent years holding in my feelings.  It’s cost me so much.  I’ve held myself back in many ways. Now, I’m trying to open up more.  I realize how important it is to show my true self and to be outwardly loving and kind. Now I’m wearing my heart on my sleeve instead of burying it deep within.  It’s not something I’m comfortable with yet, but I’m sticking with it.

I’ve always felt odd, different, etc., etc., but now I’m starting to appreciate that side of me.  When I read The Far Side by Gary Larson, I thank God he’s freakin’ weird and wonderful.  His comic strip is my gold.

We all have our past, present, and (hopefully) future to deal with, but understand that no one is perfect.  We’re all doing the best we can.  There are reasons for the decisions we make and showing love vs. criticizing or condemning is crucial for a positive outcome.  I know things are heated right now with all that’s going on in our world, but remember love fosters more love.

This is a rare edition from me. I promise. I hope that any of you who may be reading this know that you are loved. You are unique and your life truly matters to our world. If you honor yourself, all is right.

Namaste – go with love.

“A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself-and especially to feel, or not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at any moment is fine with them. That’s what real love amounts to – letting a person be what he really is.” ~ Jim Morrison
