“October is crisp days and cool nights, a time to curl up around the dancing flames and sink into a good book.” ~ John Sinor

It’s a good thing I have my library card because I am totally checking you out.

What’s a gourd like you doing in a place like this?

(National Geographic Narration V.O.)
“Ah, wow. Shhh, let’s slowly walk up to it, easy… easy. You’re looking at a rare, two-headed Connecticut Field Pumpkin. A definite sign indicating that the end of the world is coming.
Ok, that’s a wrap.”

Here’s the story of a lovely oblate pumpkin, who was bringing up 57 globular and oblong and a few oblate pumpkins of her own, the youngest one, still on the vine shaped in curls…

Here’s the story of a white-rinded male pumpkin named Randy, who was busy with 57 smooth and lightly furrowed pumpkins of his own, they were 58 male pumpkins living all together, but they were all alone…

Until this one fall day when this oblate pumpkin met this white-rinded young fellow, they knew it was much more than a hunch…

Long story short, they all became the Pumpkin Patch.
The Pumpkin Patch,
The Pumpkin Patch,
That’s the way they became the Pumpkin Patch.

The cider’s delicious… but I’m pissed off!

Quick, close the blinds! Who in the hell invited them?

“October is the opal month of the year. It is the month of glory, of ripeness. It is the picture month.” ~ Henry Ward Beecher

Like the morning is always new
Give it back to you
Like the rain, it just passes through
