Why do I pause
Without reason or cause
My thoughts are so clear
When no one is near
When the time comes for me to shine
My tongue and brain fall out of line
So much to say, so much to give
I know the life I want to live
Why procrastinate
Does it not prolong fate
Don’t be envious
Of those who do, inspire us
Let the moments of fear and doubt
Be a marker of what’s to conquer
And allow our true selves out
