“My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance.” ~ Erma Bombeck

“Every moment is a fresh beginning.” ~ T.S. Eliot

Clean

What does it mean?
Interpret it whole
Feeling light and full
Nothing bashed or bruised
All edible and ready to be used
Said without bite
Not out of context
Nothing wrong nor right
Worn for pleasure, you seem so clean
What you said before, what did you mean?
Just want to feel alive at this moment
No thought for later on
Keeping it light
Maybe I ask for too much
Give too little
Seen more than enough
But I pray for these feelings I hold dear
I’m alive, wanting to thrive, hang from a cliff, knowing no fear
I want life, I want adventure
I want more than just some tenure
Be you, I’m me, we’re alive
Don’t fuss, pick it up
It’s clean
