“Hi there, I’m the sun. I keep you warm when you swim and when you’re outside having fun. I may cause some glares, but no one’s perfect!”
“Sorry, don’t run. I just need a little favor.”
“Please, call 911. Tell them it happened again, I’m stuck in the tree. Yours truly, the sun.”
I drove all the way here, and they’re closed. …Jerks!
Leave him be. He’s having a fit.
There once was this little boy with a wooden eye. He felt so alone he’d sit at home and cry.

In the same town, there was a little girl whom very few knew. She had only one leg, the other a wooden peg.

Now about this time, there was a dance to be held, but neither wanted to go for fear no one would talk to them or even come near.

Both were convinced to attend the dance and were told to “Live a little. No one will make fun of you. Give it a chance!”
So Peg-leg went with a friend.  She stood for a bit.  No one asked her to dance, so she sat and began to knit.

Wood-eye entered and noticed Peg-leg sitting in the corner.  His heart was full of hope, but his fear of rejection, hearing laughter, and “nope” kept him stalling hour upon hour until the sun grew dim. Then he was finally told, “Just go ask her!” by his friend, Kim.

So Wood-eye made his way, gathered the courage, swallowed his pride, and asked little Peg-leg, 
“May I have this dance?”
Peg-leg looked up, full of glee, and loudly replied, “Would eye?!”

Wood-eye furrowed his brow and exclaimed, “Peg-leg!!”

I’m struggling with the lower half. …Man, I’m not ready for bifocals.
“Sorry, I’m dehydrated.”
