“When the path ignites a soul, there’s no remaining in place. The foot touches ground,
but not for long.” ~ Hakim Sanai

Brick streets.

Why not marbles?

Was somebody sitting outside one day, admiring their brick home, thinking…

God I love brick. In my world, I’d make everything out of brick; a brick home, brick streets, brick churches, with some brick parks, brick pools, brick stop signs, and maybe some brick grass.

It would look like 3-D art.

The whole town would be a brick stereogram.

Brick clothing would only be allowed indoors though. “Kids, take off those brick shirts before you go outside. You hear me? …Kevin!”

I do like the look of brick streets though. But they’re just not practical for a lot of things… like walking in heels. I look like a dinosaur crossing the street. I love when I’m halfway across, and then traffic appears out of nowhere, so I have to walk really fast. I look like a deranged horse galloping.

If I’m wearing heels and I see more than one brick street up ahead, I’m rescheduling.

“Surrender to your path, forget about time or speed, and most importantly walk in joy.” ~ Roxana Jones

“If you’re not excited about it, it’s not the right path.” ~ Abraham Hicks

A song to start the week: Walk by Ludovico Einaudi on Spotify/YouTube. Best listened to with a headset or earbuds with eyes closed and/or while out in nature, then it sets in deep. In A Time Lapse remains as one of my favorite instrumental albums. Ludovico’s music moves me. I hope it moves you as well. In peace.
