Theory about the identity of "Elise":
Therese Malfatti was as furry as a furball. Rumor has it she was Beethoven's former student whom he planned to WoO until he was 59 - and almost succeeded - but his death got in the way at age 56.
The original manuscript for Für Elise Bagatelle WoO 59 was found among the furball’s papers after Ludwig van Beethoven stopped calling and being alive.
