“Love keeps the cold out better than a cloak.” – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I turned my back for one second…
“To appreciate the beauty of a snowflake it is necessary to stand out in the cold.” – Aristotle

(Under my breath: Man, this is going to take forever…)

“Winter is on my head, but eternal spring is in my heart.” – Victor Hugo

“In seed time learn, in harvest teach, in winter enjoy.” – William Blake
A song to kickstart the weekend: Firecracker by Ryan Adams on Spotify/YouTube.

About to teach class in 30 minutes. I should be looking “over there” at my notes and the students questions. But here I am, looking and smiling. Ok I hear ya! I will look over there now & come back here later.
Love the posts Kim. I read and enjoy every one.

That’s why I had to put you in these – to gauge if you’re reading or not. YOU got lucky, really lucky you responded quickly. I initially put your name, phone number, address, and place of employment underneath the captions – but, Jesse said that may be too much. I said, not enough. But alas, I had to add you in here somewhere. So glad you passed the test – may your students pass theirs. Lord help them. We miss you here – have a fantastic weekend! Gold star for you.
