“Thanksgiving, man. Not a good day to be my pants.” ~ Kevin James

“I’m having the best month of my life! Everyone’s feeding me, stuffing me, keeping me free from the dogs… I don’t know what’s going on, and you know what? I don’t want to know. I’m done questioning things. My therapist says I need to be more trusting and accepting when things go well.
So… here I am! Accepting, trusting…
Oh look, here comes Farmer Bob with… what is that, a plate, an axe, and…? Must be some new sport… maybe he wants to play…”

“Did anyone see Farmer Bob wrestling with the turkey?”

“Saw it. Heard it. Even got some blood on my knickers. It was quite a show. The look of shock on that turkey’s face… dang.”

“Man, I missed it! But I can smell him now… Martha popped him in the oven this morning, and I can hardly wait. I researched – one search – female and male turkeys are equally tasty. What you want is a young female – so she’s not so tough, or an older male – he’s less stringy.
Anyone catch the age of our male turkey?”

“I saw tricep hair, so past puberty for sure.”

“I actually like stringy meat. Tucker, what about you?”

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow —
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.
