“What if, today, we were grateful for everything?” ~ Charlie Brown

You can look now, just remember we ran out stuff to make your arms.

Hey, where is everyone?!
Home for the holidays?
I should probably plug this in.
Sure, of course. You can count on me. 😇
And the Survey says, “Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle gurgle gurgle.”
Dear God, I’d like to say thank you for all you’ve done for me lately. And if possible, could I please have a new mattress? I’d really appreciate it. Thank you.
(Turning the corner)
WOW, that was fast, thank you!
…Oh, man, I forgot to ask for the box spring.
God, could I have that, too, please? If it’s not too much!
Dang, that was easy!
(On the phone)
“You want me to bring a dish?”
(Walking slowly, looking up)
“Oh yeah, no problem. I’ll bring some fresh, seasonal fruit.”
Norm is not gonna be happy about this.
…It was supposed to say ‘Woof’, you guys. Woof.
Go on, find another wall.
It’s almost over … hang on.
I pity the fool who dumps in this.

Hey, have you guys noticed that Karl is a bit of a close walker? Maybe it’s just me!

A song for my Dad: Crambone on Tom and Jerry via YouTube. Happy Birthday (tomorrow) this one goes out to you, pops. I love you!!

Here’s an amusing article in Rolling Stone magazine about National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – the movie that lasts the whole year in my world. If anyone’s a fan and hasn’t read this yet, it highlights details about the making of the movie with many insightful comments from the cast and crew. I’ve watched Christmas Vacation countless times. I usually put the movie in at the end of the day. From the moment the theme song begins, I’m pacified. It’s like a baby’s mobile for me.

This is my last post for 2020. Sending out love, thankfulness, and good cheer.
I’m wishing everyone all the best. Be safe, have fun and Happy New Year!!

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart. Wishing you happiness.” ~ Helen Keller

  2. You’ve got this, Brad! The clock ticks for the fun that awaits you. Maybe we can both sip on a goose island when the sun sets…  I’m toasting from afar now though with my watery coffee. Thank you so much for reading my posts so far and I truly appreciate your comments.  I’m sending you and the family so much love and luck in the new year.  All the best!
