That was weird.

Hey, Sam!
Remember me?
… Jerk.

When one door shuts another door appears on the floor to nowhere?

When you get to the fork in the road, turn Right.
If you see the black banana, you actually went Left, so head back to the fork and start again.

Sharing some great music from a fun and windy town called Chicago, from one of my best buddies known as, Jay Montana, to get this weekend going! Jay and I met while taking improv classes at Second City, good thing he had music to fall back on. Just kidding, he is hilarious, a great guy, and he’s super talented on the guitar.
In addition to Jay’s other music ventures, he is a member of the band Tautologic. Their newest album, Wheels Fall Off, was released on April 2nd of this year. As of April 29th the album was #8 on the Relix/Jambands.com radio chart and is getting solid reviews.
Check out this glowing review from Hans Werksman at Here Comes the Flood:
“Few albums come full circle without dropping the ball a few times along the way, but Wheels Fall Off by Chicago based progressive art rock sextet Tautologic is one of them. After a short intro/nursery rhyme featuring the band’s songwriter Ethan Sellers kids they are off for a visit to a musical candy store, touching base with ska (Memo To Yourself), Zappa-esque instrumentals (Rocket Surgery) and breakneck speed folk (Fat, Dumb, and Happy, High School Reunion). Tautologic cater to fans from so many genres that it could have turned into a muddy, faceless mess, but they are able to get to the core and add a smathering of bells and whistles that lets each track shine like the queen of the prom. Whether it is funky disco (Covered In Grit) or a late night jazzy torch song (Summer, 1995), this band really has both the stamina and the skills ‘to keep driving ’til the Wheels Fall Off.'”
